The Sunderland Plane Metal Wall Art

Designed by Arthur Gouge of the Short Brothers, the Sunderland first flew on 16th of October 1937. Although designed as a long range patrol/reconnaissance flying boat, the Sunderland was equally at home in more offensive rolls, being equipped with gun turrets, bombs, aerial mines and depth charges. The Sunderland was one of the most widely used flying boats of WW2 and saw service with the RAF and many other airforces.

This stylish piece of wall art is precision laser cut from 2mm steel and powder coated to a satin black finish. This provides a durable rust resistant finish so it can be displayed indoors or out.
